Dainichi Koi Farm, founded in Ojiya, Niigata, by Minoru Mano and run by his sons, breeds Kohaku, Sanke and Showa; All Japan champions 1991 and 2007.

Dainichi Koi Farm (大日養鯉場) began when Minoru Mano started breeding nishikigoi in the Higashiyama district of Ojiya in the Shōwa 30s (1955–1964) and took the trade name Dainichi. The company was incorporated on 4 April 1990, and his son Futoshi Mano became representative director in December 1998. Futoshi now runs the farm with his brothers Hiroshi and Shigeru. After the October 2004 Chūetsu earthquake the farm moved from Higashiyama to Sanbusho in Ojiya, and a second base in Toyota, Aichi, followed in 2005. The farm centres on Kohaku, Taisho Sanke and Showa, and Ojiya City credits it with All Japan overall champion Showa in 1991 and 2007.
