Omosako Koi Farm is in Kure, Hiroshima Prefecture. Its founder, Ryuzo Omosako, started the business in 1960 as a koi dealer; the farm's own timeline says the koi farm at Tochihara was built in 1973 and Shiro Utsuri production began in 1979. His son Takayoshi Omosako is the current representative. ChampKoi calls Shiro Utsuri the reason to buy from Omosako and names Kujaku as its strong second specialty.
