Maruyama Koi Farm in Yamanashi, opened in the 1960s by Gensuke Maruyama and now run by Futoshi Maruyama, is known above all for Kohaku.

Maruyama Koi Farm is in Yamanashi Prefecture; the farm's own company page gives its address in Minami-Alps City. It was opened in the 1960s by Gensuke Maruyama and is now run by his son Futoshi Maruyama. ChampKoi calls it "a Kohaku farm first and everything else second", and says its Ginrin Kohaku also take size-class wins at the All Japan show.
